Joint service with St Mary’s Church and the Congregational Church
– the venue of the service rotates between
the
Churches. See the events page
for the location of the upcoming services. |
*A crèche and
children’s work are offered during these services.
Our services are informal and contemporary. Music
is led by a worship band, and some sections of the service use words
that are either displayed on our projector or on sheets provided before
the service starts. We have no dress code, or expectations of what
people should wear, and we will not ask anything of you as a guest, so
please do not worry – just come along and find out more about what we
do.
We look
forward to seeing you there!
Family Service
On
the third Sunday at 4pm, we also have a family service
specifically aimed at children of all ages and their parents
or
carers. The service typically includes songs, activities and a talk,
followed by craft in the hall. A tea (a variety of hot or cold
finger food) is provided for the
children, and tea or coffee and cakes are
provided for the adults.
Little Treasures
On the
second Wednesday of each month (except August), at 2pm, we hold a short
service for 0-5’s and their parents or carers. The service is a fun
time with music, songs and a story in the church, followed by craft and
refreshments in the hall. It is a good opportunity to meet
other
people with young children in the village and learn about the Christian
faith in a relaxed environment.
